About Me

Hello there!

 

My name is Brenda Villalobos, and I am based in Santa Barbara County, California.

 

I graduated in August 2022 from California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) with a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. Before all this, I attended community college at Allan Hancock College and received my Associate of Science in Business Administration and Associate of Arts in Mathematics and Science in 2020.

 

It was quite a journey to where I have gotten now. I aimed for growth in my college career by being a Vice President of the American Marketing Association Chapter at CSUCI. I also worked for the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics, where I was a Content Creator and an Account Manager for their social media accounts. An experience I truly valued since this allowed me to grow and get out of my comfort zone.

 

These experiences led me to continue showing my capabilities at a student-run agency called CI Solutions at CSUCI. I worked as a Marketing Specialist there for a year and five months with other students, mentors, and professors. CI Solutions empowered me to work with the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics and clients of small local businesses in Ventura County and Santa Barbara County in California. Those one year and five months made me discover my passions, value my skills and confidence, and, most importantly, prepare me for the real world.

 

With the experiences I pushed myself into, I got to work in various roles and projects, such as event campaigns, content development, digital creation, digital marketing, and more.

 

As an aspiring marketer, I look forward to continuing to grow, explore, learn, and challenge myself.
