About SEEAG
SEEAG is a non-profit organization that educates students and the community on the origins of agriculture and food. To inspire and be knowledgeable about nutrition through hands-on learning. This project was a collaboration between WEV and CSUCI, funded by the Outhwaite Foundation. I contributed to the social media marketing strategy for SEEAG's Santa Barbara Farm Day 2021.
The Project
For this project, I worked on SEEAG SB Farm Day's social media strategy. Our point of contact contacted WEV, and WEV reached out to CI Solutions so we could work with them. SEEAG wanted to improve its social media platform efforts and know what type of content to promote on its platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn).
The Outcome
As a marketing strategist, I evaluated the analytics, researched, and brainstormed ideas that the non-profit could implement in its strategy.
My team and I devised a strategy for each social media platform and set KPIs. We created a social media marketing strategy plan that included the goals, audience personas for each platform, content plan, content calendar, and suggestions.
We hoped that this plan would bring them many ideas and helpful resources that they could implement and reference for their SB Farm Day campaign for 2021 since they needed direction and a boost in their social media efforts.
